Multnomah Falls

At over 600 feet, Multnomah Falls (in the Columbia River Gorge about 30 minutes from Portland) is the largest waterfall in Oregon, and thus quite popular. It’s also one of the easiest to get to, because it’s just off the I-84, with no hike required. That being said, it can be mildly confusing to get to. You need to be going eastbound, the exit (Exit 31) is on the left instead of the right, and after you park you walk through a tunnel under the highway. Depending on how much time you have and what your legs are like, you can admire it from the bottom or you can walk up a little, to the bridge (not far at all), or even go a little further. Because it’s a two-part waterfall with an attractive stone bridge (Benson Footbridge) in the middle, it makes for great photos so long as you can avoid the rain!
