This has been our go-to salad dressing for quite a while now, so I thought I’d give it its own post. It’s from Gordon Ramsay’s Fast Food and, in particular, his mixed tomato salad recipe (which I did a post on). It’s nearly the same as his “classic vinaigrette” (same book), but the proportions are slightly different and it has a little sugar in it, and no peanut oil.
Gordon Ramsay’s Mixed Tomato Salad Dressing
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) superfine sugar
- 4 tbsp (60 ml) extra virgin olive oil
- sea salt & black pepper
We like to use extra mustard, and/or a little less olive oil. Be sure to shake/stir it well, too.
