While visiting family in Miami in March 2014, I got to show off by making, for my third time now, Atomic Buffalo Turds (Steve Cylka’s recipe). I’ve already done a post on these, but this time the photo is of them part-way made, pre-bacon wrapping. Also, this time some of the peppers I used were red—but, oddly, not very hot at all.
These things are very, VERY tasty, so, if you make them for a large group, make a lot! They’re fine reheated in the microwave or toaster oven the next day for breakfast, too; just be sure not to burn yourself on the cheese.
